Applying for a Loan

Employees apply for a loan from their own profile, much like applying for leave. This article is written for the employee.

Where to apply

Open your profile (Sidebar → HR → Employees → your name, or your own profile link) and select the Loans tab. Click Apply for Loan.

You can also reach the loans list at HR → Loans and use Apply for Loan there. You can only apply for yourself (managers with the right permission can apply on behalf of others).

Filling in the request

Field Notes
Loan Type Pick the type that matches your need. The form then shows the maximum you can borrow and the repayment period for that type.
Loan Amount The amount you want to borrow — keep it within the maximum shown.
Loan Required From The date you need the funds by (a date picker).
Purpose of Loan Explain what the loan is for.
Supporting Documents Optionally attach files (e.g. a medical bill or invoice).

As you pick a type, an info box shows your Monthly Salary, the Maximum Allowed, and the Repayment Months.

Terms and signature

  1. Read the Terms & Conditions shown on the form.
  2. Tick the box to confirm you agree and undertake to repay through monthly salary deductions.
  3. If a signature is required, sign in the signature box (draw with your mouse/finger; use Clear to redo).
  4. Click Submit.

Your request is created with status Pending, your signature and a copy of the terms are saved, and the assigned approver is notified.

Eligibility notes: If you don't meet a guideline (minimum service, an existing loan this year, or an amount above the maximum), you'll still be able to submit — the approver simply sees a note and decides. Eligibility rules are advisory, not hard blocks.

After you apply

  • Track status from the Loans tab on your profile, or the HR → Loans list.
  • When approved, you can download the signed agreement from the loan's detail page.
  • Repayments are then deducted from your salary each month and appear on your payslip (see Repayment & Payroll).
