Screenshots
The Screenshots page is a gallery of the desktop screenshots captured by the time-tracker app while employees were tracking time. You can filter by employee and date, open any screenshot full-size, and delete screenshots.
Where to find it›Screenshots
Filtering the gallery
A filter bar sits at the top of the page.
- (Admins only) Choose an Employee — pick a single person or leave it on All Employees. This filter is only shown to users with the All view permission; employees with Owned always see just themselves.
- Choose a Date to show only screenshots captured on that day.
- Click Apply to filter, or Clear Filters to reset.
The gallery shows the most recent screenshots first and is paginated (60 per page).
What each screenshot shows
Each thumbnail card displays:
| Element | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Thumbnail | A preview of the captured screen. Click it to open the full-size viewer. |
| Blurred badge | Shown when the screenshot was stored blurred (because Blur Screenshots was on in settings). |
| Employee name | Who the screenshot belongs to. |
| Capture time | When it was taken, in your company's date and time format. |
| Active app | The application that was in focus when the screenshot was captured (shown if available). |
Viewing a screenshot full-size
- Click any thumbnail.
- A viewer opens showing the full image, with the employee's name as the title and the capture time and active app below it.
- Click Open Original to open the full-resolution image in a new browser tab.
Deleting a screenshot
A red trash button appears on the screenshots you're allowed to remove.
- Hover over a screenshot and click the trash button in its corner.
- Confirm in the dialog.
- The card disappears and the image file is permanently removed.
Important: Deleting a screenshot is permanent — both the image and its thumbnail are removed and cannot be recovered.
If the gallery is empty
If you see "No screenshots found for the selected filters", check that:
- Screenshots are turned on and the interval isn't set to Off in Tracker settings.
- The employee has actually been tracking time in the desktop app (screenshots are only captured while a timer runs).
- Your date filter isn't pointing at a day with no activity.
