Activity logs
The Activity Logs page shows the detailed, raw data captured by the time-tracker app: the activity samples (mouse and keyboard activity) and the applications and websites used while tracking time. It's the place to drill into exactly what happened, sample by sample.
Where to find it›Activity Logs
The page has two tabs that share the same filters:
- Activity Samples
- App & Website Usage
Filters
The filter bar at the top applies to both tabs:
- (Admins only) Employee — pick a single person or leave on All Employees. Shown only to users with the All view permission; Owned users always see just themselves.
- Duration — a date range. Pick a range, and a Clear Filters button appears to reset it.
Both tables sort with the most recent entries first.
Activity Samples tab
Each row is one sampling window (its length is set by Activity Sample Window in Tracker settings). It summarises how active the person was during that window.
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| # | Row number. |
| Time | The window's start and end time (date and time, in your company format). |
| Employee | Who the sample belongs to. |
| Clicks | Number of mouse clicks counted in the window. |
| Keys | Number of key presses counted in the window. |
| Activity | An activity percentage for the window, shown as a colour-coded badge: green = 70% or higher, amber = 30–69%, red = under 30%. |
| Status | Active or Idle. A window is marked Idle when there was no input for longer than the Idle Threshold set in settings. |
App & Website Usage tab
Each row is a span of time spent in one application or on one website, recorded only when Monitor Applications / Monitor URLs are enabled in settings.
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| # | Row number. |
| Time | When the app/website session started. |
| Employee | Who it belongs to. |
| Application | The app name, with an icon — a globe for browser sessions or a window icon for desktop apps. |
| Window Title | The title of the active window at the time. |
| Domain / URL | For browser sessions, the website domain (a clickable link that opens the page in a new tab). |
| Duration | How long was spent, shown as minutes and seconds. |
Tips
- Switch tabs freely — the employee and date-range filters you set apply to whichever tab you're viewing.
- Use the Activity badge colours on the Activity Samples tab to spot stretches of low engagement at a glance.
- If a tab is empty, the most likely reasons are that the employee wasn't tracking time during the selected range, or the relevant monitoring option (apps/URLs) is turned off in Tracker settings.
